OV7670 Camera Module

The OV7670 camera module specification:

3V3 - Input power supply voltage (3.3V is recommended; 5V is also acceptable but not recommended)

GDN - Ground connection

SIO_C - SCCB interface control clock (Note: Some low-level MCUs require pull-up control, similar to the I2C interface)

SIO_D - SCCB interface serial data input/output (Note: Some low-level MCUs require pull-up control, similar to the I2C interface)

VSYNC - Frame synchronization signal (output signal)

HREF - Horizontal synchronization signal (output signal)

PCLK - Pixel clock (output signal)

D0-D7 - Data port (output signal)

RESTE - Reset port (pull high in normal use)

PWDN - Power mode selection (pull low in normal use)

Description of this OV7670 Sensor

The OV7670 image sensor, with its compact size and low operating voltage, provides all the functions of a single-chip VGA camera and image processor. Controlled via the SCCB bus, it can output 8-bit image data at various resolutions, including full frame, sub-sampling, and windowing. This product achieves VGA image speeds up to 30 frames per second. Users have full control over image quality, data format, and transmission methods. All image processing functions, including gamma curves, white balance, saturation, and hue, are programmable via the SCCB interface.
